An office furniture business wanted the luminaires to coordinate visually with its desks and chairs. The project focused on changing the exterior finish of an existing lamp design.

Furniture coordination

The original brief concerned the relationship between the lamp finish and the customer's furniture design. It used the existing silver-grey exterior as the starting point for discussing another colour.

Colour reference

The project material records the use of RAL and Pantone references in the colour discussion. An agreed reference guided the adjustment of the powder-coated exterior.

A colour code identifies the requested direction; the physical finish still needs to be assessed alongside the furniture. For a new project, specify the reference system and code, the required texture and the sample to be approved.

Configuration scope

This case describes exterior colour coordination. It does not establish an electrical, optical or control change, a delivery time or a measured performance improvement. Available colours, sample costs and production conditions are confirmed after reviewing the new brief.

Selected manufacturing processes are handled by qualified partners. A coating specification and agreed sample provide a reference for the configuration discussion.
